About me

I’m Lec Tang, and also call myself Scrollboy, a name initially inspired from PC game The Elder Scrolls but then surprisingly gained more sense in my life.

Living in a world where screen scrolling can be definitely seen as one of human’s TOP 3 survival skills, I became a journalist, technology enthusiast and creativity pursuer.

My past experience covered TV broadcasting (The Voice of China & Chinese Idol), magazines (Elle & Grazia),  new media (The Bund & my blogs P2, SisuSnap) and Strategy Department of Shanghai Media Group. And now I’m close to finishing my MA of Creative and Media Enterprises in University of Warwick.

Currently based in Shanghai and Coventry, I live my life with almost no difference, as technology is turning everything universal. I watch live runway of London Fashion Week when I’m at home in Shanghai; I have video conferences with friends over the world to discuss our new media platforms and dreams; I introduce new and helpful gadgets and apps to my friends, parents, followers and strangers.

Technology is changing our lives at a very daily and individual level. I’d love to keep scrolling.
